A great audio article put together by Jillian Rogers at KHNS Radio in Haines, Alaska after our talk on traditional tattoo revivals of the Tlingit and Nisga’a tribes. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN<a
Also included in this update: a photo of yours truly emerging from a dip in the Mendenhall glacier in Juneau, Alaska! I swam out a short distance to the iceberg pictured behind me at midnight last week, said prayers, asked for healing and strength.
Also a photo of an old Tlingit tattoo kit that is on display at the brand new Alaska State Museum where we did our talk on Tattoo revivals in the Pacific Northwest Coast.
Also included in this post is the transfer process of an original design to the buckskin dance apron that is now worn by one of my youngest dancers in my group! He loves it! Stay tuned or more interviews on their way!!
